SOLO JAZZ SATURDAY  | Saturday 26th SEPTEMBER

​Learn two of the most popular solo jazz routines in the swing dance scene.

These classic routines were choreographed by Frankie Manning in the 1930's (Big Apple) & 1940's (Tranky Doo) and are danced at swing dance parties all around the world today!

10am - 12pm | Tranky Doo
12pm - 1pm | Lunch Break
1pm - 3pm | Big Apple

Swingin' at the Dance-o-mat  | Saturday 3rd October

​Swing out with us at the Dance-o-Mat!

We'll be running a FREE swing dance taster class for the public from 12pm to 1pm. All welcome - come give swing dancing a try and bring your friends! No partner or experience needed.

Then from 1pm - 4pm, we'll be DJing swing tunes for social dancing~

Dance-o-Mat is not bookable so we'll be sharing the space - please be considerate of others!

Spooky Night Stomp  | Swing & Blues SOcial Dance |   Friday 30th October

​Dance the night away at this Halloween edition of Friday Night Stomp! We'll have a variety of music for different styles of Swing dance including Lindy Hop, Blues, Balboa, Shag, Solo Jazz and more!

Learn a spooky solo jazz routine at 7:00pm - 7:30pm!
Workshop FREE with Friday Night Stomp ticket.
Prize for best Halloween costume!

Social dancing from 7:30pm till 11:00pm.

Let's dance at Te Rimutahi | Ponsonby!

~FREE~ This space is not bookable, so come early to help secure our spot. We'll have swing and blues music for dancing and hanging out. Be considerate to the public as this is an open space 

Swing dance, lindy hop, blues, balboa, shag, solo jazz, tap dance and any other styles are welcome!

Time: 7pm for as long as people stay

Location: Te Rimutahi - 254 Ponsonby Road

What to bring: warm clothes, water bottle.
