You agree to abide by our Code of Conduct when attending our classes or events. This helps us create a safer, more enjoyable place for everyone.
Everyone is welcome
Regardless of gender identity, race, sexual orientation, ability, physical appearance, religion. This is not a definitive list, everyone is welcome to participate fully – harassment, bullying or discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated.
Safety is a priority
Look out for each other, both on and off the dance floor. If you do accidentally collide with other dancers, or accidentally touch someone’s private areas, apologise and make sure everyone is ok before continuing. Deliberate inappropriate touch and/or boundary pushing will not be tolerated.
It’s okay to say “no”
To a dance or any interaction with anyone, and you don’t need to give an explanation. By the same token, if someone doesn’t want to interact with you, be gracious and move on.
Our classes and events are social
And they're a great way to meet new people, but they’re not pick-up joints. Please keep your interactions friendly and respectful.
Be respectful
It’s OK to let your dance partner know if a move or connection feels uncomfortable. If you are given this kind of feedback take it on board and accommodate for your partner. Please don’t offer unsolicited advice otherwise – even with the best intentions this can be unhelpful. Focus on improving your own dancing instead.
Talk to us
You can come talk to us any time if you feel uncomfortable at an event or class and we’ll support you to resolve any issues.
